Meet Mariam Oyiza Aliyu

Mariam Oyiza Aliyu is a passionate advocate born in Kogi State, Nigeria, with a life story marked by resilience and compassion. As an ex-Muslim convert, Mariam faced persecution and channeled her experiences into advocating for freedom and justice through her platform ‘Voices Unveiled,’ dedicated to empowering and sharing the stories of persecuted individuals in Africa. She is also the founder of Learning through Skills Acquisition Initiative – (LETSAI). Through her activism and commitment to gender equality, She received a recognition award with the Women Have Wings Award in 2021, Mariam exemplifies a tireless champion for justice and positive change.
